Drake Women's Volleyball team will open the 2024 season by playing the Missouri Tigers on August 30th at 3:30 PM CT in an early season test for the women's volleyball programs.

Mizzou received votes in the 2024 AVCA Preseason Volleyball Rankings and is looking to start their strong with matches against Drake, No. 12 Creighton, and NC State at the 2024 Bluejay Invitational in Omaha, NE.

The Tigers lead the all-time series with Drake 18-5-1. Drake and Mizzou last met in 2018 where the Tigers secured a 3-0 sweep.

Missouri returns six of seven starters from 2023 including the All-SEC trio of Maya Sands, Jordan Iliffm, and Sierra Dudley. The Tigers were predicted to finish sixth in the 2024 SEC Preseason Coaches Poll.

The back-to-back MVC runner-up Drake Bulldogs were tabbed to finish third in the MVC Preseason Coaches Poll. After facing the Tigers in the Bluejay Invitational, the Bulldogs will play NC State on August 31st, followed by the No. 12 Creighton Volleyball Bluejays on Sunday, September 1st. All games will be streamed live on FloVolleyball.
