The preliminary round of Olympics women's indoor volleyball wrapped up last night, with Brazil winning the battle of the undefeateds 3-0 over Russia.
Brazil, Russia, Korea, and Japan advanced to the quarterfinals from Pool A, joining the USA, Netherlands, Serbia, and China from Pool B. Here is the bracket for the elimination round of women's indoor volleyball:

The undefeated USA women will take on Japan in the first round, and if they win, will face a strong challenge in the semifinals, taking on either Serbia or Russia. Reigning Olympic gold medalist Brazil faces China in the first round. The Chinese have struggled so far in Rio, going 2-3 in pool and barely advancing.
The men's elimination bracket will be determined later today after the conclusion of pool play.
