FloVolleyball is excited to continue our series of premium club volleyball rankings. The Flo50 will rank the top teams in age divisions from 18s to 14s, with a new ranking releasing each week.
This week, we release our first 14s list, featuring teams from all corners of the country that are likely to contend for national titles this spring and summer.
TAV 14 Black went 10-0 to win the 13 Open USAV National Championship last year and the players will have thoughts of more medals and trophies dancing in their heads in 2017.
Coast 14-1 Luis was the USAV Girls' Junior National Championships Open runner-up last year, and it will be joined in the title chase this year by Open semifinalists Sunshine 14 Westside and Madfrog 14's National Blue.
OTVA 14 Longwood Blue finished tied for fifth at USAV 13 Open nationals and second at AAUs last season.
Dynasty 14 Black, Sunshine 14 South Bay, and Skyline 14 Black all finished in the Silver bracket in 13 Open at GJNCs last year and are expected to cause plenty of trouble this spring.
Alamo 14 Premier went 11-0 to win the 2016 USAV 13s National Division and will be on the hunt for an Open bid in 2017.
The first USA Volleyball National Qualifier is the ASICS Colorado Crossroads in Denver on March 4-6. The final qualifiers are the Northern Lights Qualifier in Minneapolis on April 21-23 and the Far Western Qualifier in Reno, Nevada, on April 22-24.
The USAV Girls' Junior National Championships will be held June 25-28 at the Minneapolis Convention Center and the AAU National Championships will be June 15-18 in Orlando, Florida.
