The Most Lethal Clubs At Lone Star Classic
The Most Lethal Clubs At Lone Star Classic
The 2017 Lone Star Classic is stacked with elite girls' club volleyball teams and athletes, but these nine clubs are the cream of the crop.
The Lone Star Classic is always one of the biggest qualifiers for USA Volleyball's Girls' Junior National Championships, attracting some of the country's top teams and players to Dallas in early April. Watch action on courts 35, 36, and 39-44 live all weekend long here.
This year's tournament on Saturday, April 8, to Monday, April 10, is no exception--and these nine clubs are the most dangerous. Any time you see one of their teams across the net, you know it's going to be a battle.
While you should always be ready for a battle when you face a team from this Arkansas club, 171 is the most dangerous of all Ozark Juniors teams this season. With University of Washington commit Ella May Powell setting and Florida commit Haley Warner playing opposite, this team finished first at the Texas Fest in early February and 15th at Colorado Crossroads.
