15 Players To Watch Live At The 2017 JVA West Coast Cup
These are the top volleyball players you can watch in action May 27-29, at the 2017 JVA West Coast Cup.
With the JVA World Challenge and USA Volleyball's Girls' 18s Junior National Championships in the books and the AAU National Championship and GJNCs still a few weeks away, all eyes are turning to the 2017 JVA West Coast Cup.
The best teams from California and around the country are gathering at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center for the three-day tournament, which runs from Saturday, May 27, to Monday, May 29, and you can watch the action from Courts 23-32 LIVE on FloVolleyball.
Tuning in? Here are 15 players we know you'll want to keep an eye out for this weekend.
Chang, a setter, led her Santa Margarita High School team to the championship match of the CIF Open Division tournament last fall. With the Cal commit quarterbacking, A4 Volley 18-Purple earned a runner-up finish at the Triple Crown Sports National Invitational, took the title at the SVCA Junior National 18s Qualifier, and finished fifth at GJNCs, where Chang took home all-tournament honors.

You may have heard the name Lexi Sun before. Top recruit in her class (headed to Texas in the fall), national Gatorade Player of the Year, Under Armour High School All-American--you get the picture. The 2017 JVA West Coast Cup is your last chance to see the outside hitter in action with her club team before she takes on the college game.
Legacy outside hitter Solei Thomas might just be one of the best uncommitted outsides in the 2018 class. A high-flying, hard-hitting athlete, Thomas flew under the radar for much of her early prep career, but this club season she's started making major waves.
Earlier this month, Sanaa Barnes won a Texas state championship in the high jump, and in Long Beach, she'll be looking for her first club volleyball tournament title of the year. The 5-foot-9 opposite is fun to watch, with big hops that helped her land a spot on the track and volleyball teams at Villanova.
A member of the 2016 USA Volleyball girls' youth national training team, the Oregon-bound Robinson has been a big part of SG Elite 17 Roshambo's success this season. The setter/hitter helped her team finish seventh at Triple Crown Sports National Invitational and earn an Open bid with a second-place finish at the SCVA Junior National Qualifier.

Watch out Big Ten, here comes Serena Gray. A 2018 middle/outside, Gray gave her verbal commitment to Penn State earlier this year. Gray was a member of the USAV girls' youth national training team last summer and has helped her SG Elite 17 Roshambo team score a spot at GJNC. But first, they'll aim for the title at the West Coast Cup.

A star on the sand and parquet, Stockham has committed to USC for beach and indoor volleyball. The freshman standout will compete at West Coast Cup with the Vegas Aces 15 Black team.
