The members of the U.S. men's national team will celebrate the Fourth of July in the best way possible, suiting up in red, white, and blue and facing off against France in the final round of the FIVB World League competition in Curitiba, Brazil.

The USA men had a slow start to World League, losing all three matches in their first pool, but they rallied back to go 4-2 in their remaining pool play matches. Then, they had to hope that Argentina would defeat Bulgaria in order for the USA to finish in the top six and move on to the final round. Luckily, Argentina defeated Bulgaria 3-1.

Joining the U.S. and France in the final round are Canada, Brazil, Russia, and Serbia.

The U.S. men's national team won World League in 2014, took third in 2015, and finished fifth in 2016. France, which won the tournament in 2015, is 8-1 in World League competition this year, including defeating the USA earlier in the tournament 3-1. The U.S., however, won the two teams' previous meeting, at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Taylor Sander has been the leading scorer for the United States so far in the 2017 World League competition, tallying 146 points, third best in the tournament.

Stephen Boyer leads the French team and the tournament with 165 points in the preliminary rounds.

The match between the U.S. and France is streaming live on YouTube on Tuesday, July 4, at 4:40 PM ET.
