Meet The 2017 Under Armour All-Americans: Keeley Davis

Even as a high school sophomore, Keeley Davis knew what she wanted, and didn’t want, from a college. She wanted somewhere that put a focus on volleyball, a relatively small college without a big-time football team.
That list of requirements led her to commit to Creighton, a team currently ranked No. 17 in the country with a 23-6 record.

Position: Outside Hitter
Height: 6-foot-2
High School: Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO)
Club: Momentum
College Commitment: Creighton
“I felt like I could make a difference there,” Davis said of her decision to commit to Creighton. “I love the support they get from the community and the school, and their facilities are some of the best in the country. The coaches and players are like a family and they have built an amazing program.”
In her final high school season, her fourth year as a starter for Rock Canyon, Davis led the state of Colorado with 577 kills, in addition to leading her team with 58 aces and ranking second on the team with 355 total digs.
Thanks to those impressive stats, Davis was named a First Team Under Armour All-American by the AVCA.
“We think Keeley has the potential to be really special,” Creighton head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth said of Davis in the press release announcing the Bluejays 2018 recruiting class. “She not only is great in the front row, but also can ball handle in the back row. On both her club team and high school team she carries a heavy load and she's been able to handle that pressure, which tells us a lot about her mental toughness.”
