Meet The 2017 Under Armour All-Americans: E'lan McCall
E’lan McCall was this year’s Texas Girls Coaches Association 5A/6A Player of the Year.
E’lan McCall was this year’s Texas Girls Coaches Association 5A/6A Player of the Year. She led her Rouse High School team with 524 kills and 636 digs, and led her team to a state runner-up finish and a 50-4 overall record. In the state championship, McCall led the match with 23 kills and 29 digs.
But McCall’s favorite thing about volleyball isn’t the getting kills or the digs or languishing in the glow of all the accolades.
“My favorite part of volleyball is when my teammate gets an amazing block,” McCall said. “The intensity you feel for them is so thrilling.”

McCall has also had immense success with her Austin Juniors club team. At the 2017 USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships, she and her AJV 17 Mizuno team, which also includes fellow Under Armour First Team All-American Holly Campbell, scored a runner-up finish in 17 Open.
McCall has signed her National Letter of Intent with TCU and will graduate high school early to join the Horned Frogs in January.
“[E’lan] has grown immensely as a player and as a leader the past couple of years and I believe she will acclimate quickly to academics, volleyball and life at the collegiate level,” TCU head coach Jill Kramer said.
