Known as “competitive” and “relentless” by her coaches and teammates, Nuneviller led Corona del Sol to the Arizona 6A state title in 2016 and was named the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year.
This fall, she led her team back to the state championship match, where it finished runner-up with a loss to Xavier College Prep; she led the team with 593 kills hitting .388, and 493 digs. AZCentral Sports selected Nuneviller as one of eight nominees for the its High School Volleyball Player of the Year.
"When someone like Brooke decides to be a part of your program, you know you're doing things the right way,” Oregon head coach Matt Ulmer said on signing day. “Brooke will be a leader the day she steps on campus. Her volleyball IQ is off the charts as well as her passion for the game and her teammates. Brooke plays with an energy that I've never seen before and that will automatically enhance our culture.”
