Americans Cruise Past Bulgaria To Improve To 2-0
Team USA cruised past Bulgaria to improve to 2-0 in the opening round of VNL pool play in Ningbo, China.
The U.S. Men's National Team cruised past Bulgaria (25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-20) on Saturday for its second consecutive win to begin the first round of VNL pool play in Ningbo, China.
The Americans took the ace advantage over Bulgaria 9-3 and improved its serving as the match went along.

Taylor Sander and Thomas Jaeschke combined to lead the United States with 35 points (29 kills, two blocks and four aces).
Team USA will aim for a 3-0 start tomorrow at 6:30 AM (CT)—despite playing without Matt Anderson, Aaron Russell and Micah Christenson, who have been delayed in joining the group by late finishes to their respective club seasons.
