Delaware's Lani Mason was named the Game Changer/AVCA Division I Women's Player of the Week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). The honor comes after Mason took home CAA Offensive Player of the Week honors on Monday afternoon.
She recorded one of the most impressive stat lines in NCAA Volleyball this season, with 38 kills on a .324 hitting percentage and 24 digs in a five-set victory over Charleston on Sunday. Both totals are career-highs for the senior from Chester, Virginia, while the kill total established a new Delaware program record, which she set just two weeks before (35).
