Germany Handles The U.S. Men In Straight Sets
Germany jumped on the highly-touted Americans early and never let up, defeating USA in straight sets (25-19, 25-22, 25-13) on Friday.
The loss is the second straight for the U.S. Men's National Team—a group that began VNL play with five consecutive victories.
Germany led the USA in kills (35-32), aces (12-4) and blocks (7-4), and scored 21 points on U.S. errors.
Head coach John Speraw's team will take on Australia on Saturday at 3:10 PM CT as the continue their efforts to right the ship.
