The Landmark Conference Volleyball Championship goes to Juniata for yet another year as they defeat Scranton in a rematch of last year's Landmark Championship. A year ago, Scranton was able to pull away and steal a set, but this year Juniata left no doubt and dominated in a quick sweep.

Juniata looks to remain perfect this weekend in the upcoming Landmark Volleyball Championship. After not dropping a single set in conference play, and only two on the season, Juniata looks to clinch yet another National Championship.

Ferris State Volleyball improved to 26-0, notching two more tallies in the win category, and remain atop the polls. They remain one of the only undefeated teams in NCAA volleyball, a difficult feat to achieve.

Ferris State has officially climbed their way to the top, sitting at 24-0, and receiving 40 first place votes. The Bulldogs have looked more and more impressive with each passing week, working their way up the whole poll.

Ferris State still sits at No. 2 in the nation, being 22-0, and are receiving 9 first place votes. MSU Denver remains solidly in first with 34 first place votes.

In a performance indicative of its play all season, top-seeded UCLA was both balanced and dominant en route to its first MPSF Championship title since 2006. The Bruins closed the tournament in three straight sets, beating host Stanford on Saturday, 25-22, 25-21 and 25-23.

The Wingate Bulldogs took down the Carson-Newman Eagles 3-0 to claim the title at the 2022 South Atlantic Conference Volleyball Championship on Saturday.

It’s only fitting the final point to send Pepperdine to the 2022 NCAA Tournament came via Jaylen Jasper and Austin Wilmot.

It’s been a big week for Gabi Garcia Fernandez. The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation named BYU’s senior opposite its conference player of the year for the second consecutive season last Wednesday. On Friday, he put down a team-high 12 kills in the Cougars’ MPSF tournament semifinal win over Grand Canyon, hitting .417 clip and adding four aces and four blocks.

Angelo State won the AVCA Division II Volleyball Championship on Saturday in Dallas, defeating Tampa in the final 11-25, 25-18, 25-13, 22-25, 15-9.

The largest girls volleyball national qualifier to be played on a single weekend — yep, I’m talking about the aptly named Big South — wrapped up on Easter Sunday. The weekend was extra special for all involved after the 2020 edition was canceled, but those who finished with medals or a spot at nationals had the best time of all. 

Delaware and Northeastern faced off twice this past weekend and traded wins with the Huskies coming out on top on their Senior Day on Sunday. While it was Northeastern's first CAA conference loss, it was the Blue Hens first conference win.

The Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic wrapped up its pandemic year Atlanta edition last Sunday, crowning champions in 13 divisions. Though a much smaller tournament than CHVC has been in recent years, not to mention the location change from D.C. to Atlanta, the event was a smashing success, especially for the big winners. 

The final weekend in January saw 300 or so club volleyball teams from Florida and the surrounding states gather in Daytona Beach for the Nike Daytona Beach 100. 

A5 Volleyball Club of Atlanta dominated its hometown tournament over Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend, winning every Open division and three other divisions at the 2021 edition of Lil’ Big South, even with most of their teams playing up an age group.
